The Next Chapter In Our Journey - the Farmers

On October 7th , when Hamas attacked Israel, one of their main targets were the Israeli farmers. Not only did they massacre and kidnap families, but they also destroyed all their agricultural machinery, destroying the businesses of those farmers who were still alive.

Farms constitute a large portion of the Israeli economy, with farms in the Otef, (the Gaza Envelope), just over the border from Gaza, in the north near Lebanon, which was threatened by Hezbollah rockets, and after October 7th , were abandoned by government order, and more farms out in the Negev desert.

We will visit farmers in the Otef and bring you their stories and updates.
